Throughout the history of art, ideals of beauty have played an important role in influencing the creative work of writers and artists. Initially, theater served as the platform for the expression of these ideals, followed by cinema and television, which took the mantle of literature and traditional art. In this context, the Italian film “Riso Amaro” (Bitter Rice) stands out as a quintessential representation of female beauty. My painting “Bitter Rice” is inspired by a specific scene in “Riso Amaro”, although I consciously chose a different model and setting. The composition is an original creation born from my interpretation of a particular theme explored in the movie. Through this composition I aimed to capture the essence of female beauty. I have strived to infuse it with my unique perspective, making it a distinct and personal work of art.
